QR codes put property details on your phone!
Huh? What’s a QR code? Yes, you may have never heard of them before, but, they have been used around the world now for awhile. They are starting to show up in magazines like Glamour, Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Why? Because more and more big time companies realize the power of in-print advertising that leads the reader straight to the Internet were it becomes an interactive experience. All with minimal effort.

So, what is a QR code really? Well, Wikipedia explains it this way, a QR Code is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data.

What’s in a name?

Domain names have become similar to a piece of Real Estate. You can stake your claim to a space on the Internet for years and years on end. Your Domain name can be the best or worst part of your website. Many people, especially professionals like Realtors have had it impressed upon them that, “You must have your (personal) name be your Domain name and let the world know who you are!” Well, if you think about the amount of people that are considering moving to your area from outside your area, that could be a substantial number. But, now think about how many of them actually know your (personal) “name” and are using it to search for Real Estate. Probably not many, or at least not as many as you hoped would.
